Mask painted heads

Machine painted heads.Face-up is painted using the mask painting method. Less expensive than hand-painted heads. You can put additional face-up over it.
Hand-painted heads

Face-up is done by a face-up artist.
More expensive than mask painted heads

Painted heads are recommended for custom beginners.

Soft Vinyl Heads

All the heads that Parabox sells are made of soft vinyl, the same material that Barbie dolls are made of. Soft vinyl, by nature, softens in the summer and hardens in winter. Soft vinyl can be categorized into three degrees of hardness, they are; hard, semi-hard and soft. Most Parabox heads are considered to be in the semi-hard category. We recommend that you store these in a place with constant ventilation, avoid sunlight and keep them clean.

Skin colors

There are two colors available: fleshtone color and white skin color.
Due to a small lot of head production, each lot might have a slight difference in colors.
The 1/3 scale head offers white skin color only.

Heads Types

Eye opening type

Used with doll eyes.
Eye-pocket type and Non eye-pocket type available.
Molded eyes type

This type of head has molds to guide you for drawing eyes. Also, you can cut out eyes along the mold, to make an eye opening head.
Solid eyes type

You can paint any design of eyes. Also, you can use decals with this type of heads.

About soft vinyl deterioration over time

The soft vinyl head is made of acrylic resin mixed with a material called a plasticizer that softens the resin.
It does n’t turn yellow in years like a resin cast, but If it is exposed to sunlight or dirt for a long time, it may turn yellow or become sticky with oil called bleed.
It is recommended to keep it clean and free from sunlight, with constant ventilation.

Shipping

Our shipping charges vary depending on the location shipped to and total weight of the products that you order.

Our primary shipping company is EMS. However, after the pandemic EMS has limited delivery to some countries. We use DHL as a substitute. We do not offer the choice EMS or DHL. If your order includes a 110cm Life Size Doll, you might be offered a choice of EMS or DHL.

You will receive a tracking number through PayPal. Both EMS and DHL include insurance.

Some countries charge import taxes to import goods from Japan. Buyers are responsible for payment of import taxes. Parabox doesn't take any requests from buyers to send product as a "gift."

If you would like to have your package shipped to an address in Japan, we offer you the same shipping services and payment methods that our Japanese website offers. All sales to addresses in Japan have sales tax applied. Click the "LEARN MORE" button for more information.

This shopping site has a point reward system. To receive this benefit, you need to be a registered member. (To become a member, go to the registration page and sign up.)

This is how it works. Every time you purchase from the Parabox website, you receive points. You can use these points for your future purchases!

*You will receive 1 point for every 100 yen purchase (the total price after discount, not including tax if applicable).
*1 point can be used as 5 yen for your future shopping.
*You can use any amount of points minimum 10 points (equivalent to 50yen) up to 1,000 points (equivalent to 5,000yen) at one time for your future shopping.
*You cannot use more points than the total amount of purchase price.

What's happening after order

We will e-mail you auto made confirmation. The shipping department will e-mail you with a tracking number through Paypal within a few days, and then start packing up your order. If your order includes something out of stock, we will e-mail you right away. If your order includes Obitsu products which are stocked in our stores, it would cause a few days delay shipping in order to get them from Obitsu.

If you would like to change your order afterward, please let us know as soon as possible. We will take care of it if it hasn't been shipped out.

In the rare event a package is missing, damaged or delayed you may be compensated by EMS/DHL. Please send us pictures if your order was damaged when it arrived.

Exchange/Return

Please verify that all the purchased items are correct when they arrive.
If you receive wrong items or defective items, please let us know as soon as possible. Showing us pictures or videos of the problem would help us.
Unless the problem was caused by Parabox, we will not accept return or exchange items. Please make sure that all the ordered items are correct when ordered.
